We were sooooo excited to learn that we are now #1 on Trip Advisor among 'speciality accommodation' in Porlock. Huge thanks to everyone who has left a review on the Trip Advisor site and if you've stayed with us but not left a review yet, why not add one? We have been proud to receive a Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor and a celebratory flag... fantastic! Makes all the grass mowing seem worth it ;)

Whoop whoop, we're really excited! We have been awarded a Certificate of Excellence by Trip Advisor, in recognition of consistently superior service. Yay! Huge thanks to all our wonderful customers, particularly those who have left such lovely reviews on Trip Advisor, it really does mean a lot. We recognise that life doesn't always run smoothly and that problems will inevitably occur, but urge you to speak to us if you find anything about Sparkhayes campsite or the service you've received to be below par.

Here's the official blurb: "With the Certificate of Excellence, TripAdvisor honours hospitality businesses that have consistently received strong praise and ratings from travellers”, said Heather Leisman, Vice President of Industry Marketing, TripAdvisor. “This recognition helps travellers identify and book properties that regularly deliver great service. TripAdvisor is proud to play this integral role in helping travellers feel more confident in their booking decisions.”

The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality, quantity and recency of reviews submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.

Speaking of memorable, we have had some really heart-warming reviews left on Trip Advisor in the past weeks, we are eternally grateful to our customers for taking the trouble to pen such lovely words.
